How Oregon Flat Fee MLS Works
You don't have to pay a 6% commission!
No one likes paying a real estate agent a 6% commission. That’s $24,000 on a $400,000 home. To avoid these high fees, many homeowners try selling on their own. But not being listed on the MLS can limit your reach to buyers.
Our Flat Fee MLS listing program is built for value-conscious sellers. By Owner Oregon lists your home on the Realtor’s MLS and major real estate websites like REALTOR.com. Since over 80% of Oregon listings sell through the MLS, your listing will be visible to both buyers and agents.
Buyer’s agents are incentivized to show your property because you’ll choose the commission you offer them—typically 2.5% to 3%. This Buyer Agent Commission (BAC) is not required and is fully negotiable between you and the buyer’s agent. Meanwhile, you save thousands by avoiding the traditional 3% listing agent fee. If the buyer doesn’t have an agent, you pay no commission at all.
Either way, you save your hard-earned EQUITY!

Important Note: MLS rules do not allow seller contact information in public listings. However, buyer agents will have access to your contact info and showing instructions in the private MLS view.
